I'm very frustrated over AT&T web email user interface for a number of reasons:
  1. Their SPAM blocker is lame. Although they block some SPAM, other very obvious SPAM gets through often, such as email messages with "wierd" characters in the subject. When I tried to setup a filter for these characters, it wasn't accepted.
  2. They have an easy to use "block" senders list. The problem is that it only allows a total of 50 senders/domains. Due to the amount of SPAM I receive, this is nowhere near sufficient.
  3. Although the user interface is better than when it was Bellsouth, tech support has taken a nosedive. Their tech support has moved to India. I was trying to explain to one of their reps that my DSL line was going up and down so often that I was unable to work online. It has nothing to do with the router, is probably the capacity of the line. She never did understand my complaint. Insisted I check the router (in another room) even though the connectivity icon on my screen gives the status.
Is anybody else unhappy with the way they handle things. Let me know. I've been using my bellsouth.net email address for over 10 years and don't really want to change, especially since they give a very attractive bundle as all of my services with them.
